…beyond the Hub: European Digital Citizenship Education Week 2026 (online, 14.-20.09.2026)

The ▶ European Digital Citizenship Education Week (#EDCEWeek26) returns from 14-20 September 2026. It features local, online, and hybrid events. The week aims to make digital citizenship education visible and engaging for young people, educators, and communities.
The 2026 campaign focuses on four core themes:
- Critical Thinking & Media Literacy- combating disinformation and fake news
- Digital Rights & Responsibilities- understanding civic duties and rights online
- Online Safety & Well-being- protecting personal data and promoting healthy screen time
- Participation & Inclusion- bridging the digital divide and fostering democratic engagement

- Use the free resources – Access the ▶ Official Partner Kit, featuring activity ideas,methodologiesand Canva templates to make organising an event simple and engaging.
- Register your activity – Whether you are organising a local workshop, a schooldebateor an onlinewebinar, add your initiative to the European Activity Map by completing the ▶ Registration Form.
Selected partners will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the ▶ European Digital Youth Summit (EDYS) in Bucharest on 19-20 November 2026. the summit brings local impact to a major European stage.
